Foundation for the Support of Women’s Work (KEDV) is an organization based in Turkey. It works with grassroots women’s cooperatives around the country. It aims to increase the leadership skills of local women to act collectively for their priorities, support them to develop and implement solutions, build partnerships and advocate for themselves, and facilitate peer learning and networking. Additionally, the organization facilitates expanding the access of grassroots women groups to local and national decision-making in order to change the development agenda and to integrate the vision, concerns and strategies of grassroots women.

KEDV provides support to grassroots women to develop their strategic plans and access resources and development material. KEDV also supports their advocacy, finance, and peer exchanges, regional and annual meetings, accessing markets and strategic expertise and in building partnerships with other institutions.

International Council of Women (ICW) is a NGO with headquarters based in Paris and a Secretariat in the Republic of Korea. ICW engages 65 National Councils in 3 regions (Asia Pacific, Europe, and Council of America) in urban and rural areas. They work on the issues of literacy, nutrition, food security, women and HIV/AIDs, health issues, clean water and sanitation, sustainable agriculture, industrial development, governance and women’s leadership at all levels. ICW also conducts trainings in peacekeeping and income generation.

ICW became a member of the Huairou Commission (HC) in 1996 as a founding network working for the prosperity and development of women’s movement locally and internationally, and facilitating women’s empowerment and capacity building through joint programs with HC. The main partners of the organization are the United Nations in New York, Geneva, Vienna, Nairobi, UNESCO, UNICEF, UN-Habitat, UNIDO, FAO, ESCAP and ILO.

The Network for Family is a grassroots network in the Czech Republic. It started out as Czech Mothers Centers and had recently changed its name to Network for Family. The network works with the issues of governance and resilience.

The main policy and advocacy priority for the Network for Family is to ensure family friendly cities (infrastructure, policy and work-life balance) in communities, in the society and in the labour market. With the main partners Minerva 21 and the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, the network conducts peer exchanges and raises awareness in the community regarding family and children issues and values.

The organization has became a member of Huairou Commission as a part of the Groots International to support and promote international grassroots movement and empowerment of women globally.
