Intended to be a commentary on the ZD, the objective of the present paper is threefold. Firstly, it assesses the text of the ZD from a gender perspective. Secondly, it analyzes the extent to which the other Habitat III outcome documents contain issue commitments to gender equality and women\u2019s empowerment.
