The 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13)

The 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) will take place in Baku, Azerbaijan, from May 17-22, 2026 and hosted by UN-Habitat and the Government of Azerbaijan.

The theme of WUF13 “Housing the world: Safe and resilient cities and communities” will shine a global spotlight on the urgent need to address the global housing crisis and position housing as a driver of inclusive, resilient and sustainable urban development.

WUF13 will follow up on COP29 (held in Baku in 2025) and focus on implementing the New Urban Agenda.
