Description: he session will focus on understanding loss and damage from the perspective of grassroots communities, whose lives depend on one survival mechanism at a time. They will reflect on the capacities and strength of their organized networks that play a significant role in collecting information and local knowledge. This conversation will support institutions to understand L&D based on locally generated evidence and documentation of losses faced by communities living in rural, urban and impoverished settlements.
