Quito, Edcuador: Casa de la Cultura Ecuatoriana, Room MR7
This networking event is hosted by the Huairou Commission in partnership with UNISDR and USAID-OFDA LAC Office. During this event, grassroots women leaders and their institutional partners will present their experiences with the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (SFDRR), showcasing a clear example of how to localize global policy processes in a gender responsive, inclusive and participatory manner. This is an event where local communities are not the object of development programs and projects, but the main agents in resilience building from the local to the global level.
